Sand Blasted and covered in dust

On Friday the winds howled through Letlhakane at gale force and with it came tons of sand and dust. It was quiet a sight to see.

Our gazebo took to the air and then roughly returned and during the storm I had to cut off our shade cloth to avoid having to track the gazebo down somewhere in the Makgadikgadi Pans. Unfortunately we did have some structural damage.

Aftermath of the storm

Having so much dust in the air did make for a spectacular sunset – isn’t Africa amazing.

Our house was totally covered in dust- a few tons were swept out on Saturday morning, cleaned  off tables, Tv’s etc.
