Adapting to the conditions

On Saturday our electricity was off  from 6 in the morning to 6 in the evening, for maintenance. With no electricity means also no water, as we are so flat here, all our water is pumped. One could whinge about it or one could take the opportunity to get things done.

One job in particular that needed attention was defrosting the deep freezer – now was a perfect opportunity. Making it even better than just doing it, was that all the ice I took out could be put to good use in keeping the beers cold, that were busy warming in the fridge. 🙂

Once the ice melted, the water was given to the garden.
