A friend of mine, a radio presenter, used my blog on water in one of his programs. Have a listen….
So interesting to hear the problems of real life – so easy to get caught up in “first world problems” like “i’ve run out of caviar”. Pete and Sue are champions! Well done helping the old man and his goats! That’s what life is all about!!
Enjoyed that. Just like a talking book and for me, lovely to hear the accent. well done on your blog being used and the reminder to us all on exactly what is precious to us and how we use. it. Africa has water as its life blood but on mud island we have so much of it that we can often forget about a continent that does not have abundance. Reminders come to us all in many ways, you with the goats and us hearing the story. We may not need to save water here but in this season that should be goodwill, may we all here give something to someone who does not have. In the supermarket yesterday, they were asking for groceries to be bought – a list was handed out. I was saddened to see that there was nothing requested for the animals…They are suffering greatly too…
