Returning from Francistown yesterday we were amazed to go through a massive rain storm. Which for us is very unseasonal.
As we were less than 20km from Letlhakane we hoped it had rained there as well, but no luck the rain had swept past and trailing the clouds was the widest rainbow we have ever seen. It was very impressive with the dark clouds behind it.
The clear skies to the right of the picture is where Letlhakane is situated.
As we got close to Letlhakane it looked like it was raining over the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans – so if you are heading out that way soon, be careful.
