Hi Guys – we met at the New Earth Guest House in Francistown when we were on our way to Kasane with the Dutch contingent…love the Blog and will certainly keep in touch! Will be coming through Lethlakane in about 3 weeks on our way to Kubu & CKGR! All the best Louis
I feel you need to camp at least once at kubu – but what I find is that doing a day trip from Letlhakane is much better. You get all the vehicles going out when you are going in. The Island is quiet during the day and when you head out there are plenty cars arriving.
Trust you are well, I got your details from the 4x4community forum, friends of mine had some problems with our Landcruiser Troopy 79 series, 87 model, as the main rear leaf spring broke, the last I heard is that they are making their way out of the Park, will you be able to assist in anyway to perhaps fix the problem?
Thank You very much dear Pete, they will certainly be contacting him, been reading your wonderful trip report to the Delta, very entertaining and insightful!! Thank You once again Pete
Dear Pete and Sue. We had a lovely stay at “The Plot” in August. 3 days and 4 nights. Thank you for arranging the permits to go to Orapa Game Reserve. What a gem of a reserve. It is a pity so few people visit it. Your bathroom is so unique it is worth a visit just to have a shower in you “Earthship ” bathroom. I would love to make one of my own one day. Best Regards your friends Steve and Claud.
Hi Judith – It is not possible for me to do it – you need to do it yourself – go to the top right of y blog and enter your email address – you will receive an email that you need to confirm

Yup it’s our plan to camp at Kubu for a night before entering the CKGR where we will camp at Kori! Any suggestions?

Kori is nice – camp site 2 is about the best.
